[ESP/ENG] Diseño de Logo para @Slothicorn - Logo Design for @Slothicorn
This is our entry fot the @slothicorn Logo Contests. We've been following @slothicorn since just a couple weeks they it was born and their commitment with the community is pretty relatable, there is a bunch of awesome artists and creatives at their Discord Channel, if you're into the creative field you can spend days watching some great work around their channels and blog. The next text is their own self explanation:
What is Slothicorn?
Slothicorn is an artist collective on the Steem blockchain whose mission is two-fold:
- To help artists become educated in the new crypto economy.
- To help cryptocurrency go mainstream through art.
We encourage and promote the creation of cryptocurrency-themed, and Creative Commons art, however Slothicorn is not exclusive to those categories. We are artist-centered which means we let artists decide which license fits them, either All Rights Reserverd or Creative Commons. We are an open-source project and have our code on Github. We believe the world can be a better place if talented artists are not starving, but are instead freely able to share their gifts with humanity while being rewarded crypto for doing so.
Here, we'll show you the Logo, Icon, Profile Banner, Footer and some mockups we designed for the #slothicorn-logo contest.
Esta es nuestra participación para el concurso de diseño de logo para @slothicorn. Hemos estado siguiendo Slothicorn desde solo unas semanas de que nació y su compromiso con la comundad es muy reconocible, hay un montón de artistas asombrosos en su Servidor de Discord, si estas en el campo creativo puedes pasar dias viendo trabajos geniales en sus canales y en su blog. Acá esta una explicación de ellos mismos:
¿Que es Slothicorn?
Slothicorn es un colectivo de arte en la Cadena de Bloques de Steem que tiene como misiones:
- Ayudar a artistas a educarse y aprender sobre la nueva cripto-economía.
- Ayudar a las criptomonedas hacerse pouplares mediante el arte.
Fomentamos y promovemos la creación de temas artísticos dentro del mundo de las criptomoneadas. Estamos centrados en el artista, lo que significa que dejamos que los artistas decidan qué licencia les conviene, ya sea All Rights Reserverd o Creative Commons. Somos un proyecto de código abierto y tenemos nuestro código en Github. Creemos que el mundo puede ser un lugar mejor si los artistas talentosos no se mueren de hambre, sino que son capaces de compartir libremente sus dones con la humanidad a la vez que son recompensados con criptomonedas por hacerlo.

LOGO
We used the circlular golden ratio as principal form to design the logo, we designed a minimal slothicorn fully usable in every color and over any background. The background we made is designed to be fully responsive with the Steemit Day and Nigth Mode. Also we used a futuristic fot that matches perfectly with the iconographic logo.
Utilizamos la sección áurea del circulo como forma principal para diseñar el logo, diseñamos slothicorn minimalista totalmente utilizable en todos los colores y sobre cualquier fondo. El fondo que creamos está diseñado para responder completamente con los modos diurno y nocturno de Steemit. Además usamos una fuente futurista que combina perfecto.
ICONO/ICON
Due to it's designed very simple and minimal, it looks perfect and it's fully reconocible in every size, even the smallest icon sizes.
Gracias a su diseño muy simple y minimalista, se ve perfecto y es totalmente reconocible en todos los tamaños, incluso en los más pequeños.
BANNER DE PERFIL/PROFILE BANNER
Specially designed for Steemit, but with the source file we'll provide it's fully modificable into facebook or twitter banners for example.
Diseñado especialmente para Steemit, pero con el archivo fuente es totalmente modificable en facebook o banners de twitter por ejemplo.
FIRMA/FOOTER
Also designed specially for Steemit. It could work either together or without the botton icons (Github, Discord, Twitter, Steemit), that means that the icons could be modificable to make them image-links themselves. It's fully responsive with the Steemit Day and Night mode which make it look really awesome both ways.
También diseñado especialmente para Steemit. Podría funcionar conjuntamente o sin los iconos de los botones (Github, Discord, Twitter, Steemit), lo que significa que los iconos podrían ser modificables para convertirlos en enlace de imagen. Es interactivo con el modo Steemit Día y Noche que lo hace lucir realmente de ambas maneras.
ARCHIVOS/FILES
Logo and source vector graphics are designed in Adobe Illustrator CC 2018. Background is designed in Adobe Photoshop CC 2018, also the banners and footers. Icons are generated automatically on Favicon Generator.
El logo y los gráficos vectoriales originales fueron diseñados en Adobe Illustrator CC 2018. El fondo fue diseñado en Adobe Photoshop CC 2018, así como los banners. Los iconos fueron generados automáticamente en Favicon Generator.
