In winter time, sleeping in your favorite PJ can seem cozy but before setting into the sheets, put it aside and check how sleeping in the nude will benefit you.

When you are falling asleep your body temperature begins to decrease in order to maintain the energy for other functions.     If you are sleeping with your partner, skin to skin contact will make your body to produce oxytocin, also known as ‘the happy hormone’. Needless to say, you will find yourself enjoying your love life even more.

    If you are too hot while you are asleep, your cortisol (the stress hormone) will stay on high level, which will make your body preserve its energy and stop burning fat. On the other hand, maintaining the right temperature will make your body start releasing somatotropin (growth hormone) which simulates growth and cell regeneration.

  5. Personal hygiene
    As mentioned above, your body temperature during the sleep gets lower which results in less sweating. This means the morning shower will take less time since your body won’t produce excessive oils.

    Tight, sweaty PJ can ruin your sleep and mood. Moving freely in your bed will make you rejuvenated, well rested and ready to rise and shine.
