Before one can seek the benefits of altering their sleep schedule, one must understand the concept. A pollyphasic sleep schedule will allow one to sleep for less hours a day but for more durations. Let me explain. Currently, many of us sleep during the night and then wake up in the morning for a full day of work only to repeat the process again. That can be referred to as one duration. In a polyphasic sleep schedule, one may sleep for a less amount of time, at night, but they may also sleep twice a day, one at night and one in the afternoon. This gives the body the benefit to rest for more periods of the day allowing one to rest for shorter amounts. So, with all this extra time, why can we not dedicate that to a special hobby, a relaxation method, or writing an amazing Steem article.

Choosing the Right Schedule


Sleep is very critical for vital for biological processes, so only do these after consulting with your doctor as they can be devastating if done improper. For someone just wishing to try this system out and feel a little more relaxed, they can try biphasic. It is often used in Brazil where people go home in the afternoon and sleep. If however you really want to invest into this system and your future, I would recommend the everyman as it is a very flexible schedule but also allows one to save a immense amount of time, yet remaining a reasonable goal. The Uberman is very hard to accomplish and I generally cannot recommend it, it can tend to be more inefficient than efficient at times due to lessened productivity by sleep deprivation. The Dual core however will not shave enough time off one’s day to be worth less sleep. The best plan is the one with the most flexibility, and the most headroom for productivity aka, the Everyman.
