Sleeping Style Determines your Personality

Sleeping is one of the important activity that you should consider studying in order to maintain your health and live healthy.There are several sleeping styles and most of them tend to give health problems. A good sleeping position can complete your sleep in 75% of the casual sleeping time ie. if a person casually sleep 8-9 hours a day then if he/she sleeps in the right position then they could complete their sleep in 6-7 hours and avoid health problems.

1. Freefall Style (On your stomach)

Sleeping on your stomach is one of the most unhealthy sleeping style however it may help you to stop snoring. 7% of the total population sleep in this posture. There are severe health problems associated with this position. It may lead to neck and back pain. Also, Sleeping in this position may lead to numbness of certain body parts due to a pointed pressure on your joints. If you can’t sleep in other positions try to sleep with your neck straight with your spine, use pillow on your sides to create airways and room to breathe properly. Generally, People sleeping in this posture are rude, noisy and uncomfortable with criticism.

2. Log Style (On your Side) 

15% of people sleep on either side of their body. In this position your body is pretty much straight taking from your upper body to your lower body. Sleeping in Log position helps to decrease act reflux and neck and back pain. Also, snoring is  avoided with this posture. This position is very good for people with sleep apnea as it doesn’t block airways. I find only one disadvantage of sleeping in this posture is you tend to develop wrinkles as one side of your face is always against the pillow. Generally, Log style sleepers are social and most trusting people.

3. Fetus Style (Curled on your side) 

It is one of the most common sleeping position and 41% of the total population sleep in this posture. It includes the position of a baby inside mother’s stomach in which the upper body is hunched and arms and knees are bent. This position is very beneficial for a pregnant women (Left Side) as it helps to improve the circulation of blood in the body and fetus. One of the downside of using this sleeping posture is too much curl of upper body may restrict breathing in your diaphragm. Fetus sleepers are tough externally but sensitive and shy inside.

4. Soldier Style (On your back) 

It is one of the healthiest sleep position and only 8% of the total population sleep on their backs. it aligns upper and lower body part in a straight alignment and resulting in one of the healthiest position for health. According to a research, this position also helps to improve the enthusiasm and activeness. There is one downside of sleeping in this posture is you tend to snore. People suffering from Sleep apnea must not sleep in this position as their tongue may block the breathing tube. People sleeping in this position tend to be quiet and reserved.

5. Starfish Style  

5% of the world’s population sleep in this posture in which upper body and lower body is completely aligned. In this position arms and legs are in such a way that gives the formation of a starfish. Starfish sleepers are generally snore loudly and suffer from a poor night sleep. People sleeping in this posture tend to be more friendly with others and are good listeners and don’t like to be the centre of attention.

yeah, I am seeing the issue with last image. I don't know why it is happening.
