Kaunertal Opening 2018/19

Hey Y’all,

Today I don’t know where to start, really, I should be writing 5 blog posts. but as they all happened in rapid succession they kinda blur into one crazy weekend!
First off, I got hooked up with a 55wide Happy Place, that rides like a dream, and totally deserves a blog spot of its own, Thanks Gigi.
Secondly, I spent the weekend at Kaunertal Opening which was off the hook and I’m glad to report is growing again after a few lean years.
Thirdly, We (Gigi, Roli and myself) built a TeePee to host the SL4SH SNOW chill spot at the board testival, to compliment the board test tents, run by Slash distributor Bjourn Bettermann and his brother Paul.
Fourth was the Premier of our SoulShredit 2018 mini movie, which took place at the Party on Friday night, and you can watch in my last blog post or for better quality on Vimeo via the www.Slashsnow.com website.
As if all that wasn’t enough, one of my shots, a screen grab of Gigi Rüf mid Front-side inverted 5 / Crippler or whatever you want to call it, hand planting Roli Tschoders Happy Place, won a place on the Wall of Legends and was painted onto the wall of the avalanche tunnel leading to Kaunertal Glacier by Tony Landeka aka @Fatttonyart (check him out), Thank you so much Mona Faulkner (organiser extraordinaire of SoulShred camp/week @kaunertal).
So all in all it was an eventful weekend to say the least.
