Our Little Skye

We considered our little pup, “Skye” as a gift from above. He is just 4 months old. Eversince he came into our lives, we gained not just a pet, but more of a companion, a baby, and a friend. My wife and I have been married for 6 months and Skye is our baby for now. He brings so much joy into our lives and to our family as well. When we brought him home the first time, he was so quiet and did not like to run around. But, as the weeks went by, he started to play with us, run with us, eat with us and even sleep with us. We had his 1st vaccine shot two weeks after we brought him home. He was very strong and didn’t get any fever or became sick. After 2 weeks, he had his 2nd vaccine shot. However, this time we saw the difference in his attitude. He became lazy and just wanna lay in the bed the whole time. He got sick and had fever. This time, we started to worry about him. The vet prescribed him to take meds and continue his vitamins. However, few weeks after, we started to notice some spots on his skin. Apart from being lazy, he didn’t want to interact anymore. Then, we decided to visit another vet for consultation. That’s when we found out that our little Skye was infected by an air-borne virus that caused all of his sickness. The doctor gave him anti-biotics and other meds to take. So far, he is responding very well with the medications. We are praying that his condition will continuously improve in the coming days until he becomes active again. We are making sure to give him everything that he needs.
