Come with me - skydiving in Philippines

The Philippines (Filipino: Pilipinas) is an archipelago in South-East Asia of more than seven thousand islands located between the Philippine Sea and the South China Sea at the very eastern edge of Asia.

The Philippines has 80 provinces categorized into 17 regions with over 120 cities. The country is huge so you need to choose which places are the best and the most interesting for you. I am sure that after first visit, you will crave for more.

On our first trip we choose two main island, which was Cebu and Palawan and we've had few tours to some smaller islands in area.

Cebu has so much to offer. We were swimming with whale shark in Oslob, jumping from canyons in Kawasan Falls (the highest jump was around 70 ft), but the most memorable things we did, was skydiving in Bantayan Island with Skydive Greater Cebu.

It is the only USPA (United States Parachute Association) Member dropzone in the Philippines. A place to do Tandem Skydive and become a licensed skydiver with our certified/professional Tandem and AFF (accelerated freefall) Instructors. Instructors, Gears and all skydiving equipments are provided by Skydive Greater. Location and overall operations is managed by Skydive Cebu Adventures. Chief instructor is Brad Vancina a certified USPA Tandem, AFF instructor and S&TA (Safety and Training Advisor) with over 17,000 skydives on his belt. The drop zone is located at Santa Fe Airport, Santa Fe (Bantayan Island), Cebu.

Going there from Cebu City was easy. We've had to take a taxi to the ferry terminal Hagnaya, you can also go by bus. Taxi was around 2500 php, bus is 170 php. The ferry ticket is also around 170 php. The tricycle is the most common way to explore the island and it is super cheap. We paid 500 php (around 8 $) for private driver, who was driving with us around the island for whole day! The island is picturesque but small so everyone knows where the Santa Fe airport is located. And there was a place where we had the time of our life.

For me, as they say on their page, there is really nothing like the rush you get from throwing yourself out of a soaring plane! These feelings are exceptional. You feel so high, your emotion are so strong, you can feel everything hundreds of times deeper. You fly. And the views. You are jumping in a perfectly beautiful location. You will see green island, aquamarine sea and blue sky. And in spite of the thrill, excitement and adrenaline, it is just extremely good fun!
