Lenticullar cloud above Sierra Nevada, Spain

This photo was taken three years ago. The place is La Zubia, in Spain, at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountain range.

I wanted to publish it because this is my first sighting of a lenticullar cloud, a very particular kind of cloud, which appears like polished by the wind. 

In this case, this cloud just stayed there for hours. It was like suspended in the sky, for everyone to see, as if it had lost its way.
