Skiing the lovely Lech, Austria
For the kids’ winter holiday I was so fortunate to get to go skiing in the lovely Lech, in the Arlberg region in Austria. It is a fantastic playpin for families, beginners, experts and powder-seekers alike.
The Arlberg resort boasts about having a wopping 305 kilometres of downhill slopes and 88 lifts!
On the Arlberg resort ski pass, you are able to ski the St Anton, St Christoph, Stuben, Zurs, Lech, Schrocken and Warth areas. This apparently renders the resort the largest in Austria, and one of the five largest worldwide. Here, there’s something for everyone!
As I am travelling with kids, we don’t cover quite the range available, but for the more expert skiers there’s Der Weisse Ring (the white circuit) a fun, half-day, 22 km run connecting Lech, Zurs, Zug and Oberlech.
For those really ambitious, there’s the Run of Fame; an 85 km run which includes the entire resort.
Beautiful scenery in Warth
Good morning, Lech!
The skiing opportunities are endless
So if you’re looking for a great spot of skiing, regardless of your experience, Arlberg/ Lech is high up on my list of recommendations.
Thanks for reading!

Så fine fjell og så heldige med været! Nyt ferien! 😊❄️🙌
I love the pictures and the skiing mountain is just so beautiful.
It looks like you had a wonderful time in this sunny day.
We had a wonderful time, so lucky with the weather. I kept telling everyone to take their goggles off some of the time just to let the sun into our eyes and skin.
