Memory lane

I took a walk down memory lane and stumbled upon something special what may be to others some simple sketches, but for me, were something much more.

They took me on a journey to a simpler time. A time of joy and tranquility, where monotony of school life would be missed more than I imagined, where I escaped for hours into a world of my own making, a world of nothing but paper and lead free of sorrow and prejudices and of pain and suffering.

Seeing these sketches took me back and brought great joy. For not only it's been a reminder of what has been, but of what is and what can be.
