Testing the SwellTech SurfSkate Hybrid and DJI Spark
So, I've been testing out the SwellTech SurfSkate Hybrid for a review on ADAPT Network. The full feature is coming soon, but I thought I would share a sneak peek of some of the drone footage I've recorded so far... this board is sick!! 🤙

I've embedded a YouTube video rather than using DTube because it seems hard to get DTube videos to play if it isn't a highly upvoted video. Has anyone else had this issue?
The music is courtesy of 'The Midnight'—they are a great synthpop outfit, so check them out if you like the tune (it's the instumental version of 'Kick Drums and Red Wine' for anyone wanting to listen to the whole track). The drone footage was recorded in 1080p 30 fps by a DJI Spark (a great little camera drone).
Below are a few of my favourite stills. I think skateboarding and surfing make excellent subjects for drone photography becuase you really get a sense of flow and it's fun to see the lines that you ride from a bird's-eye view.

Very cool! So the hybrid allows you to carve into the curve a lot easier I see. Great use of the drone! Spark can provide unique perspective.
It's the most fun I've had on a skateboard in ages. Well, it's actually the front trucks which make the board carve like a surfboard. The 'hybrid' part refers to the length - this is the mid-sized board in SwellTech's current range (a hybrid between the standard and Jamie O'brian pro models).
