Cricket players, commentators congratulate Imran Khan on election

As election results for 2018 general elections are pouring in and Imran Khan’s party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is reportedly winning the elections, the cricket players and commentators congratulated former cricketer on the victory.
Pakistan batsman Mohammad Hafeez wrote on his Twitter handle: “Ma Shaa Allah U done it once again, Long Marathon Struggle against corruption, A man of Strong Believe, , Banay Ga Naya Pakistan, IN SHAA ALLAH”.
Left-arm fast bowler Muhammad Amir wished Imran Khan writing: “Congrats to I hope u guys will do the best for Pakistani nation INSHALLAH”.
Former West Indian cricket player and commentator Ian Bishop wrote: “My heartiest congratulations to the new Prime minister of Pakistan; Prime Minister Imran Khan. Proud to know an outstanding former player could achieve such an important role in leading ones country. May he lead with integrity and by example”.
Indian cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle stated: “So finally, Imran Khan as Prime Minister? Have admired him enormously as a cricketer and as a cricket captain. Will be interesting to see how he leads a nation”.
