Lovely image. Wow. Ah the late Bronze/early Iron Age was a terrible time for torture. So many people were sacrificed this way. Still happens to this day, torture for having/sharing opinions that go against those in power. I'm reading about the gulags at the mo. They were torturing innocent people too, less than 100 years ago. Bloody humans, eh!
