Spectrum Economics Challenge 6/Cooperation and Competition
Good night my dear steemians first of all I want to congratulate @spectrumecons for bringing to the community such great and interesting challenges because through these we can demonstrate the skills and abilities of each one obtaining a teaching that allows us to grow as a person and as a citizen . I love this type of contests because they make us think and apply the logic and the analysis of what our environment could be I explain the point of view I have of the different scenarios presented:
From my position and point of view I would choose to cooperate and compete at the same time, since starting from that we find 4 scenarios of which each one has its advantages and disadvantages that characterize them but at the same time they are all in the market by same purpose that are the sales of desserts, breads and cakes
Taking into account that from the moment we are immersed in any negotiation process, all parties involved try to "pull the rope to your side" to get the best possible. However, "the best possible" should be understood as mutual benefit and not only on one side because when in the negotiation, one of the parties applies "selfishness", trying to get the best for himself, without considering the interests of the other part, the negotiation may not advance, and may even break. therefore, this negotiation should be understood as a selection process between the different alternatives that we have in mind, where solutions are adopted that are satisfactory for both parties, translating this into the application of the WIN-WIN strategy which seeks to maximize efficiency for all and allows to reach the best solution among all the alternatives that each one presents.
The arrival of Best Buy would become an opportunity of alliance for the smaller bakeries and in this way to be able to achieve the parallel growth between them.
Based on the WIN- WIN strategy as well as the Nash equilibrium and analyzing the qualities of each bakery, I consider that best buy because of its condition of being new in the market should take advantage of the advantage it has over other bakeries because of have the most updated machines in the market as well as the advantage of obtaining raw material in bulk to cooperate with small bakeries, mainly initiating their cooperation with the bakery draxton's cake, looking for a strategic alliance since this bakery apart from having a loyal clientele, 80% of its production is exclusive to them and a considerable percentage is replicable, so that best buy could be fed from the recipes of these exclusive cakes and therefore increase their variety of products to achieve increase both the profits and the clientele in their shop that is what this requires, at the same time draxton's cake can use the machinery of bes t buy to increase the quality, variety in their desserts, and the cost benefit is lower to be able to sell at profitable prices to their clientele and thus not lower the sales volume in the bakery. in this way they would obtain the feedback of knowledge and technology among them.
In this way these two bakeries would benefit and become a solid competition for the bakery of the Thompson who are currently leading the market, but the most important thing would be that both would obtain the expected growth.
I hope you like the strategy that I thought most convenient to apply in the different scenarios proposed ...
