#ulog 7: Bad Weather while in the Discord Talk Show

Just a few hours ago, the 8th Discord Talk Show initiated by @surpassinggoogle has been successfully finished. Though in my place, it is raining and inviting us to sleep early. But still I made it and joined.

Keeping Awake

But I won't passed the talk show in @steemgigs channel of our mentor. So while waiting for it, I read and study the Watchtower article for later's Sunday meeting in our Kingdom Hall.

After which, me and my husband watched Paddington in the Netflix plus of course coffee and snacks to make us awake.

Just in time when the movie ended, I joined the channel with 40 Steemians connected. Where at that time while waiting for the man of hour, @surpassinggoogle, @maverickinvictus serve as moderators and asking who are first timers in the talk show, and he interviewed some of them like @afefe and @mrnightmare89.

But that number increases to 55 Steemians, when @surpassinggoogle arrives and started his talk.

Again, @surpassinggoogle never failed the show with its brilliant and interesting ideas that he gladly shares with us listeners.

Pointers to Ponder

Much of his talk is about Curation in its full essence and importance

"Curation is about the spread and timeliness. No longer about quality of post"

Part of being a curator is also must involves comments
He also talks about the contents and the inspiration of a certain articles made.
He even tell his experiences before he is still a minnow. Which I think is inspiring for all of us.
Also he said, that he is alloting 10% to help other communities. (Such a big hearted man)
Paying attention to comments has led him to meet amazing people on the internet. He's in the comment because he loves the interactions there.

After the main event, I slept and disconnected in the channel because I know after that, theres more like party again. Where some Steemians got the chance to share their golden voice. It was a fun and interesting talk show.
