The Sinulog Festival is an annual presentation of cultural and religious activity in honor of Senior Sto. Niño, a.k.a. the "The Child Jesus". This miraculous child is the patron saint of Cebu City, who was given by Magellan as a baptismal gift to Hara Amihan, the wife of Raja Humabon of Cebu as a way of introducing Christianty to Cebuanos.
