And if you dig into the research of Penrose and Hameroff, it points to consciousness being a far more difficult process to replicate in computer hardware. Granted, quantum computing is making progress but we're a long way from being able to group several million qu-bits in superposition and collapse them several dozen times a second, into an objective stream of consciousness!
