444명의 팔로우와 숫자4에 대한 단상 / 444 followers and simple thought on the number 4

오늘 제게 444명의 팔로워가 생겼습니다.
400명의 팔로워가 이미 넘어간 것은 알고 있었지만
가장 좋아하는 숫자 4로 가득찬 444명의 팔로워가 생겨나기를 기대하고 있었습니다.

그리고 오늘 444명의 팔로워가 되었습니다.

Today I have 444 followers.
I knew that 400 followers had already passed,
I was hoping to have 444 followers filled with my favorite number four.

And today, 444 people became followers.

한국에서는 중국문화의 영향권으로 인해 죽을 사(死)의 발음과 숫자 사(四 )의 발음이 같다는 이유로 숫자 4를 싫어하죠.
하지만 저는 어릴적부터 왠지 모르게 숫자 4가 좋았습니다.
그래서 차량번호도 4자가 많이 들어간 번호판을 골랐고 (만들수만 있었다면 4444로 했을텐데)
비밀번호도 숫자 4는 반드시 들어가죠 ^^ (물론 비밀번호는 4444로 만들 수 없어서 못했죠)

Many people in Korea do not like the number 4 because of the pronunciation of death and the pronunciation of number four (4) due to the influence of Chinese culture.
However, since I was a child, I liked number 4 without knowing why.
So I picked a number plate with a lot of numbers 4 in my car number (if I could make it, it would have been 4444)

그런데 언젠가 숫자 4자를 좋아한다는 말에 할머니께서 '재수없게 그런 숫자를 좋아하냐'라고 말씀 하신 후 부터
나는 재수라는 정해진 운명적 한계를 받아들일 수 없다는 저 혼자만의 열망을 담아 끊임없이 숫자 4를 사랑하게 되었죠.

그리하여 제게 숫자 4는 '내 운명의 개척은 내가 한다'라는 모토와 같은 의미가 되었습니다.

I was constantly loving the number four with my own aspiration that I could not accept the determined fateful limit of luck.

Thus, the number 4 became the same meaning as the motto "I will pioneer my destiny".

언젠가 읽은 책에서 수학자 중 한 명은 1+2+3+4=10이 되어 숫자 4는 완벽을 만들어 주는 숫자라고도 말 했었다는데

그러고 보니 독일황제 카를 4세가 저보다 훨씬 숫자 4를 열정적으로 사랑한 사람이었다는 사실도 알게 되었죠.(거의 환자수준으로)
재미로 그의 숫자 4에 대한 사랑의 정도를 보면

• 의복은 4색으로 제작하였고
• 마차는 네 마리의 말이 끌도록 하였고

• 대화는 보통 네 명과 즐겼다고 합니다.

People like to find four-leaf clovers, but do not like the number four.
One day in a book I read, one of the mathematicians said that 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 = 10 and the number 4 is the number that makes perfection
And then I realized that German Emperor Karl IV was a passionate lover of the number 4 more than I am.
If you look at the degree of love for his number 4 for fun

• Four meals a day
• There were four horns in the crown.
• Apparel is made in 4 colors
• The carriage had four horses pulled.
• I always let the drink go out in four ways.
• The country is divided into four areas
• had four army divisions.
• The conversation is usually enjoyed by four people.

그럼에도 불구하고
여튼 저는 오늘 새로운 프로젝트를 시작하며 많은 분들에게 응원을 받았고
제가 개인적으로 가장 좋아하는 444명의 팔로워 분들과 알게 되어 기분 좋은 날을 맞게 되었습니다.

제가 얻은 이 기분좋음을 다른 분들께도 전해드릴 수 있도록 노력하겠습니다.
