The U.S. Mint sends what you buy by Mail... It all depends on how much you trust your Mail... I suppose a person could buy from the U.S. Mint, if they go in person... I'm not sure...

Do they pad the value of the silver/gold though? Or do they give accurate value per ounce?
Currently the Mint is Selling Silver and Gold Coins at very high Premium Prices... Do you have Coin Shops where you live...??? You might want to Receive what you Buy, on the Spot... As they say... "If you don't hold it, you don't own it"...
