US Constitution

Hi friends,

I wanted to share an item from my precious metals stack and let you know why I a holder. Today’s edition: a one ounce silver US Constitution tribute round:

This round is featuring Article 1, Section 10 of the US Constitution - also known as the gold standard. While the US has abandoned the gold standard in favor of centralized paper currency, many people feel the gold standard should have been the way to go. Perhaps inflation would be lower. Perhaps the country could not borrow itself into such great debt. Perhaps the physical payments would have been helpful if/when the global financial crisis next hits.

Who knows what the right answer is. However, as a hedge in the event of global catastrophe, having gold and silver will certainly be a good idea.
