Flashing some booty
I am pretty worn out from my treatment today but before I grab a little nap, I wanted to post about a package that arrived in the mail from @galenkp in Australia. The package was for our daughter's birthday but, there was something in there for me too, A Steem Silver round.
So shiiiiiinnnnnyyyyyy.
Stacking metals is something I know zero about but I find it interesting and will spend some ore time reading up on it. Something I found interesting is that when going through an airport it says, some amount of legal tender can be carried through non-declared. Legal tender supposedly includes gold and silver coins that have been minted as tender. So, rather than being worth their weight in gold, for declaration purposes they are worth their face value only. I am guessing there aren't many people in the world who can truly take advantage of that convenient loophole.
The Steem community round I think is a perfect one for me as I think that I am a half decent community member (although it is a full ounce not a half) and I am grateful to my brother for getting it for me from @mattclarke. Thanks to both of them, I am grateful. At the moment, it will be a symbol of my time here and I will treasure it well, like treasure. If however, the world economy collapses, I will carry it in a leather pouch at my hip and fend off marauders with my long sword.
These other two coins are not actually mine, they are my daughter's which means, she has stacked more by the age of two than I have at near 40. They are also from @galenkp and although she doesn't get to have them yet, they will be held safe for her until she is able to use a compound bow and she too can have a leather pouch at her side.
They are all really pretty coins but the Steem coin community tree is a brilliant design. I am hoping that I will be able to order the next in the series also and perhaps even grab the same number but, we'll see. I am really appreciative of @galenkp as he has done a lot for us and our daughter in the last months in several ways. Hopefully, I will never have to use my booty to survive and instead, use Steem to live a little broader in the future.
Now, nap time. I am wrecked.

Super! You should probably still brush up on the sword fighting, though. I hear the king's court can be a dangerous place.
Silver coins are recommended to be part of your asset portfolio. In addition to gold coins and like. Silver is so much cheaper though and you can collect a stack of them easily. 📊
Nice rounds! I caution you to make aure you dont pay too much over spot. The sweet spot for silver is canadian maple leaves. Following.

A few years ago a non-American friend won the Prometheus Award, which is given as a one-ounce gold coin. She had an interesting time convincing customs that she shouldn't have to pay duty on it, but was eventually successful.
Its ours by default, now try and prove it isn't.
It matters if it is an official mint though doesn't it? Still, an award is an award :D
