The Secret Advantage of holding Silver Eagles

in #silver7 years ago

So in putting on my visionary goggles, I had to ask myself, “Is there an advantage to holding Silver Eagles compared to the rest of the silver out there?” Of course, this is for the United States, but the same principle could be applied to other countries.

My answer is, yes! There is definitely an advantage.

Disclaimer: Now I do believe in stacking all the pretty stuff, but having a chunk in Silver Eagles might have a future benefit.

Why, you ask? Well, let me paint a picture. The Stock Market crashes, followed by the Federal Reserve going belly up. So paper currency is done, leading to a full on dollar crash bringing us a cashless society. So what’s left? Whatever electronic money is working at the time and coins. Imagine people digging into their piggy banks for coinage to pay for incidentals. Why coins? Well, coins are created by the U.S. Treasury, not the Federal Reserve, so they’ll still retain some value (face or metal value), at least for trading small things.

But wait, what happens as life continues to move forward where the spotlight is not on the United States anymore? Where it’s alone, with very little friends, and merchants around you only want to deal with real money? Which they have the right to. Can you imagine going to the dentist and seeing a sign, ‘Payment by Silver Eagles Only’. Or you desperately needing a tractor for your farm, and the only ones for sale require at least seven or eight Silver Eagles to purchase it?

What if you don’t have them? Something so easily attainable now, but in maybe ten years, it could be the defining factor whether your life is easy or not. And if you don’t have them, you’ll have to go out and buy them later, ouch!

You may respond, “They’ll take my Perth Mint Kangaroos, I’m sure of it.” Uh-hem, Perth who? Perth Mint coins are not legal tender in the U.S. And these merchants may want Silver Eagles because they need to buy something only sold in Legal Tender as well, like products and services they could sell back to you.

Maybe you scoff, “People will never have a Silver Eagle only business, what lunacy your spewing out right now. That’s crazy talk!”

No, what’s crazy is grown men still thinking superhero movies are real life or that sports actually matters. Or how about women that just can’t have enough $400 purses. Oh, let’s not forget the minimalists on the other side of the spectrum who are able to live their present life because of a system that's still in place, but WHEN that system breaks down, and they didn’t prepare, they’re going to be micro minimalists.

Get a roll of Silver Eagles today, I could be right. This has been your One Page Punch!

I have been buying silver since the mid nineties. I started buying silver eagles when my daughter was born. Silver was $5.00 an ounce then. I have bought 100 eagles a year for both of my girls since they were born. I think it is a great way to preserve wealth and prepare for the future.

That's great! And you must have the peace of mind that whatever they'll need in the future, will be easily taken care of, whether by silver or by your wisdom. That's for commenting!
