The weather here sucks, it's rainy but I got a pick me up in the form of a new chain!
I been on a jewelry kick lately, rather than buying gold and silver coins like usual I've been picking up some wearable wealth..
This is a 22 inch Mariner style chain. It's .925 sterling silver made in Italy
I saved 20% buying this at the mall kiosk and hageling on the price. Was this close to silver spot price, no. Is this a good investment..no
..but it's shiny and I like it 😄
I want to get a 14k gold Mariner chain one day and I figured I'd get a silver version to see what it would look like with my ballin ass gold rope chain before I fork out a grand to buy a gold Mariner

Same here, the chain is much more costly over spot due to the making charge of the jewelry. Some salesmanship haggling at the dealer, but will some day be an investment when the price grows to over $100 an ounce......I give it a upgoat, due to wearable wealth factor.

I've been looking . . . for a long time . . . to find a silver chain that I like and that I would be willing to pay for.
The last time I went to the mall kiosk, I asked about a big, long silver chain that he had, which was 22 inches and a simple link design.
The salesman put it on a scale and I asked what it weighed.
The salesman weighed it again and said 180. I said, "180 what?" He replies, 180 dollars.
So, I inquired again about the weight, to which he replies that he doesn't sell it by weight. OK, so what does it weigh?
So he weighed it again. He replies 18. I said, "18 what?" He replies 18 grams.
So, it's less than one once of silver and priced at $10/gram for $180.00. No, I can't pay that much for a silver chain.
I hope you got a better deal than that.
