Basically to sum things up:

Siacoin is the designated cryptocurrency used on the Sia decentralized data storage platform which is essentially a peer-to-peer network of hard disk drives individually connected to the network allowing the disk space on those hard drives to be used or recovered for data storage by people all over the world.

At the moment SC is at a ridiculous low and is a very good time to buy. Currently 486 is one of its lowest and I can't see it getting any lower than 400 Satoshi's. Look into the currency and make the decision yourself as I am not a financial advisor just updating people considering it is very difficult to follow up with all these Alt Coins nowa days.
