Looks like Bitmain is releasing another asic for Blake (2b) to mine Sia, is Decred Next?
The above screenshot from Bitmains website shows the Antminer A3 capable of mining Blake (2b) for Sia.
The specs look interesting, but if tons of them hit the market that will change the profitability quickly.

What are your thoughts on this?
Bitmain are geniuses, they mine with those machine themselves then they sell the old ones to mine with ones they just built..
Its important to test them out for a few months before selling them! lol (wink wink)
Saw this this morning and did the calculations and thought I'd done them all wrong for the current returns.
Looks like they're all sold out, so those returns will drop rapidly soon.
Not to mention all the other Blake (2b) miners due to be released from other companies soon. People that get them fast might be able to ROI but it will get harder and harder for sure. I have always considered asics as a good choice for people who own tons of the specific coin in order to keep difficulty high.
