Whatever shall we do?

These are uncertain times we live in. The world is full of SHTF situations calling upon people to survive things which are difficult, dangerous and life threatening.

When a SHTF event occurs, you don’t have hours to get out. You have minutes – and sometimes only seconds. Think about it. Set a stopwatch for sixty seconds.

What do you take from your home for yourself? For your kids? For your pets? How are you going to pack what everyone needs when you don’t have time to do it?

What if you’re at the office and you find yourself in a SHTF situation? Where do you go? How are you going to get supplies? Who do you call? You need a bug out bag ready and waiting for you because you can’t see the future.

And the world has already proven time and again that SHTF situations happen. Plus, you can tell by the news stories that bad events are brewing, just waiting to unfold.

Your survival depends on being able to vacate with what you need to survive. And you will most likely not have time to think, much less pack. You need a bug out bag.

Do you know what kind of bag to get? What to take along with you and what to leave out of the bag? Do you know how to improvise if you must? When it comes time to get out of town, if you have pets, you’re going to want to bring them along to safety with you.

While the clock is ticking down, how can you prepare for their needs? What if something happens to injure your beloved pet? Will you know how to treat that injury?

If you had to name the top three items people need to survive, could you do it? Most people will quickly say water, food, and shelter. But do you know what kind of water? What kind of food? How to take shelter along and how to create shelter if you must?

Knowing you must have something is one thing. But knowing how to put all these items together is another.
