Costume: When she has clothes at all she seems to be wearing the remnants of the clothing she had on at the time of her death; a tattered lab coat and some work coveralls.

Origin and personality

Samantha Wyatt worked as a botanist for fifteen years experimenting with plants that could survive in desert environments and ultimately (hopefully) on the surface of Mars. Many of the compounds she experimented with were derived from chlorophyll infused with Olympium particles. Even after the mutations in humans from Olympium exposure became known, she continued her work with manipulating plant genes.

Eventually her research grant was exhausted, but she continued her work on a shoestring budget. When she finally showed some of her work to a few colleagues they exposed her illegal work to the authorities and she was ordered to cease and desist. In an act of protest, she injected herself with a lethal dose of experimental compounds on the front steps of the University that originally sponsored her research, committing suicide.

Roughly four years later, some kind of life dug its way out of her grave. Roots from local plants entered her body, combined with her experimental formula, and gave birth to a new symbiotic, sentient plant/human being. She began calling herself Wild Daisy, a nickname that her grandfather called her.

Wild Daisy is insane. She talks like a person but is more comfortable with plants and insects. She will randomly appear throughout the country (sometimes literally sprouting up out of the ground) to commit acts of terrorism ranging against such diverse targets as oil refineries to small floral shops.

None. She is frequently barefoot and naked.

Abilities

Ability 1 - Morphic Plant Body

Wild Daisy's body is composed of mutagenic plant materials mimicking human flesh. She can grow thorns and vines from her body, gain the strength and mass of a redwood tree, and emit all manner of toxins from her skin. Any wounds on her body cause a moss-like eruption from her "veins" that repairs the damage. She can also unravel her body into a tangle of roots and tunnel through earth faster than she can sprint.

Ability 2 - Plant Animation

Wild Daisy can also cause existing live plants to come to life and obey simple commands. An animated plant is able to uproot itself and alter its body dimensions to a limited degree, gaining strength and limbs to strike with. It is not able to change it's form or nature from one plant to another as she is able to.

Ability 3 - Regrowth

Wild Daisy can regrow her body from spores released on the wind. Once while imprisioned she seemed to just die. In reality she simply regrew a body for herself hundreds of miles away after the wind carried her spores far enough for her to regrow a body for herself undetected.

Weakness

Photosynthetic. As a plant Wild Daisy requires sunlight to survive although it will take up to a week for her to be severely harmed. A more immediate threat is oxygen, large doses of concentrated oxygen can cause her to suffocate.
