Calculating Crop Productivity Shrimp

In Shrimp Culture, The ultimate goal is to benefit the highest quality as well as good shrimp pond fertility is maintained.

To determine productivity in the cultivation, harvesting there bebarapa parameter into account, namely:

- Tonnage: is the overall number of shrimp weight based on the weigh (kg or ton).

- MBW (mean body weight) is the average weight of shrimp per head (gram).

- Population: is the amount of shrimp that live at a time.

- SR (survival rate) is the presentation of a comparison between shrimp harvested compared to the amount of shrimp are stocked at the beginning of the cultivation. The unit is percent.

- Size: is the number of shrimp per kilogram.

- FCR (feed convertion ratio) is the ratio between the amount of food stocked and into the pond compared with the total weight of shrimp harvested.

These parameters are calculated with the following formula:

- Tonnage:

- Obtained from weighing the total shrimp harvested. Usually the harvest carried out in one stage and some are done multiple times. Harvest done, but not all shrimp lifted from the ponds called Parsia harvest

- The aim is to reduce the remaining pupulasi so the shrimp is expected to grow rapidly so that would be obtained large-sized shrimp. Total tonnage is the number of whole shrimp harvested good harvest of partial or total crop.

- MBW obtained by sampling. The trick is to take a number of shrimp in a random way, if the shrimp are still in the pond all, usually taken in a way fished several times from several different places. The shrimp were successfully fished tesebut then weighed, after the results were weighed in mind, the shrimp calculated amount. MBW then obtained by dividing the weight scales with the number of shrimp shrimp. Sedangakn if the measure MBW harvest is carried out by taking a number of shrimp totally random from the crop, then weighed and counted how many. MBW harvest is calculated by the formula similar to the above is the result of heavy weight divided by the number of shrimp.

- MBW = weight of shrimp / prawn amount weighed.

- Sample weight of shrimp 1 kg, once numbered 10 individuals, the MBW 100 grams.

- The population is obtained from counting the number of shrimp were successfully harvested. The formula is as follows:

- pupulasi = Tonnage harvest / MBW.

- examples of all shrimp weighing 2 tons, MBW 15 grams, then the population is 133 333 head

- SR (survival rate) obtained by the formula:

- SR = number of shrimp harvested / stocked in the initial amount of shrimp aquaculture.

- Sample number 133 333 harvested shrimp tails, the stocking density of 200,000, then SR 66% ..

- Size is the number of shrimp per kg, obtained by the formula:

  - Size = 1000 / MBW.

- FCR obtained by the formula amount divided by tonnage of shrimp feed.

- FCR = weight of feed / weight tonnage of shrimp.

- Examples of the amount of feed 4 tons, 2 tons of shrimp harvest tonnage, the FCR is 2.

- The smaller the number FCR then cultivating and fodder rated the better.

Similarly, some of the parameters to calculate the success Harvest Shrimp Farming.
