Honestly? I prefer text over video most of the time. I can read much faster, on the go, and although some things have to be on video... a monologue normally isn't one of them. In fact, I've almost stopped visiting some blogs because the authors basically switch from text to 10 minutes video ramblings. But hey, maybe just me. I do love to read, and like your writing style. Oh, and your average post count doesn't seem that bad! ;)
