Love love this @bengy :) The Markus Passion by Bach is a favorite of mine. Love the detail you include about tuning your violin to achieve specific pitch, facinating. I didn't realize this was done having played only the piano years ago. You are indeed a gifted musician, thank you for sharing these wonderful performances with us!
Actually, this was only done really in the Baroque period and as a bit of a special trick to achieve different colours. Sadly, it was lost in the intervening centuries...
