Shoutout Saturdays #5 - April 21st
Well, I’m a day late but hopefully not a dollar short doing Shoutout Saturday. I was a tad busy yesterday and didn’t follow my own advice to do the Shoutout as my week progressed.
I’ll need to do that this week as I have a convention to attend next Saturday which will take me offline for the day.
That saucy @artemisnorth has challenged us to donate the payout on our Shoutouts to @tarc and @youarehope, sounds like a plan.

There are a lot of people on this platform who have made a difference in many ways of my time on here. Both to me and for others. I’ll never cover them all in one post so, it will take many weeks and well, I’ll come across others as I go. I have no doubt about that.
@jackmiller
Currently residing in Europe, this Australian native joined the platform in June 2017. He’s currently witness number 107 but effectively number 91 due to inactive witnesses. Passionate about the platform, this fellow has grown on me since I met him at the first Witness chat that I hosted in March. He’s been a regular at PYPT since then.
@damianjayclay
A resident of Great Britain, Damian joined the platform in January 2018. He had arrived at @thewritersblock from another writers group and ended up joining the platform. He quickly established himself as the go to person for poetry in the block. His passion for poetry has infected several who had never previously been interested in poetry to write it. He’s a regular at PYPT and always has some great contributions. He and two others are going to be starting a show on @steemstarnetwork in the near future.
@ancapbarbie
Currently a reluctant resident of New York City, she joined the platform in January 2018. She showed up one day at Pimp Your Post Thursday, joined the queue to present a post and then asked to be taken out of the queue as she didn’t think he post was worth it. I declined and pressed her to present and found that we had a lady in our midsts who didn’t mind speaking her mind. Gotta love folks like that. She must be one of the most regular folks I know as she often informs us she “lost her shit” over one matter or another. In typical fashion, she makes no bones about loving to hear the sound of @damianjayclay’s voice.
@drakos
Currently ranked 25th as a witness, I really don’t know why this guy wasn’t in the top 20 long ago. He hails from Quebec. He joined the platform in June 2017 and is a very hard working individual on the platform. He spends an incredible amount of time helping new folks get onto the platform and get started. I’ve heard from several witnesses that he’s also very helpful for them and he’s the guy who created and maintains the best witness list around. You can see all the pertinent details on all the witnesses and then vote all on that page.
@firedream
On the platform since November 2017, I first became aware of firedream when I joined the-resistance discord. I didn’t really know what was going on there when I joined, a friend gave me the link, but it didn’t take me long to figure out that he was leading the charge on a problem on the platform against all odds. Along with that, he writes some interesting posts.
So, those are my choices for this week. There are really great people on the platform. I know I’ll only scratch the surface through these posts.
Finally, Let Me Challenge You.
I am tossing out the challenge to everyone I do a shoutout to — join the Saturday Shoutouts party and introduce us to some of those you interact with that make the Steem experience better.
In case you missed it at the top of the post:

Until Next Time — Just Steem on

I thought I hadn't found a niche, but apparently pretend cyber-stalking @damianjayclay is my niche. LOL
;) you funnnny
wocka wocka @ancapbarbie , perhaps cyber-stalking crypto-personalities will become the new "Initiative"
Aww thanks for the shout out :)

Please feel free to tell me I should knock it off, the moment it's no longer funny or making anyone uncomfortable. Also I mentioned your poetry skill to my brothers and they're looking for someone to write lyrics for them. Probably won't pay much ... I dunno, but if you're interested, I'll send contact info to everyone.
It's all in good fun ;)
Tell them to check out my bandcamp. Funnily enough damianjayclay. If they like what they hear I'd be up for it.
Some wonderful folks recognized in your post. I've enjoyed listening to @jackmiller myself, as a fellow Australian. I like seeing Australians pushing themselves out into the greater world and bringing their unique perspective to things.
excellent..and thanks for your past support.
Thank you @shadowspub. This is really great stuff. Let me ask you... does our # #shoutoutsaturdays steemain have to be a part of #thealliance?? I mean I want to spotlight our Fam here of course. But there are a few outside #thealliance I would like to mention as well. thnx
