Misappropriater of funds

My wife and I were president and vice president of the Black Student Union, prior to 1989. We held a one-night only fundraiser/dance in 1988 in an abandoned building which made $200 for the club, across the street from the "ugly bar" off Betty lane in Clearwater, Florida.

The song of the night was "Who's house?" The division of labor for the club was not well-defined. The treasurer of the club should have held the money, but I kept it in a small, zipped pouch. "Mama I want to Sing" was playing at the Tampa Bay performing arts center, so I took my vice president...with the club's money. I should have been impeached, but I wasn't. And from 1989, there have been no meaningful impeachments since.
