Warning: Wear a mask
On an old walkway, with tampered wall colors and rustic look, giving an impression of archaic place, a boy was walking to his house.
It was windy. There were smudges of water retained in the rutted surface of the road giving an indication of showers during the day.
There were clothes hanging on a thread on a nearby tin roofed house, fluttering as the wind and earthly physics dictated their motion. It was a typical afternoon with minimal movement since this town was deserted and nobody worked in the afternoon.
The boy saw a squashed can of coke lying on the street and just like anyone else who is bored, he kicked it. The can bumped into the fluttering cloth with force enough to take it off the clips.
The boy wasn't prepared for what he saw next. The cloth took a shape. A solid human shape exposing it's silhouette as air interacted with it from different directions.
The cloth started to approach the boy. Panicked, the boy started running back. He toppled on a rock and fell on his back. He had nowhere to go.
The ghost came breathtakingly close but surprisingly passed over the boy and then in the air losing its shape and then settled down on the road.
Next thing to boy noticed is that he had something on his face and the ghost had left a note. The boy opened it and it read-
"I DIED BUT I WANT YOU TO LIVE. WEAR A MASK."
Nice message
