There's no business like SHOE business

My last post was 2 years ago - where I mentioned I'd just left a lucrative job in research for a marketing role in a small family-owned business. There are definitely ups and downs to that, but this has been so much fun!

I will say, working on catalogs is weird. I do all the photography and layout for these twice a year pieces. That means, my work has been printed over 505,000 times. I hold no illusions that its looked at that often, it has probably gone straight into the garbage for 400,000 times. But maybe 100,000 times someone has flipped through the images and thought 'pretty' or 'I want'.

That's good enough for me.
