A Year of Amara - Birth To One Year Old
The Beginning
Amara was born 12/14/16 with her brother, Grizzly. (Not sure if I remember correctly)

Here is her and her brother with their mom, Willow.
Met her First when she was 1 month old
4 weeks old
First took Her Home
When she was 2 months old, she come home with me. It was rough for me when I first brought her home, I felt horrible that I had taken her away from her brother and her mom. This mixed with her getting sick right after she come home gave me a lot of stress. I eventually got over this anxiety and now she is just a happy little puppy.
She is a queen that gets a lot of toys
And attention
She certainly hates baths
First bath, lots of scratches that day.
But loves sticks that are too big for her.

Amara had a few growing pains this year.
At one point she looked a little fat.
At other times, she was sporting what is known as a “hobo” haircut.
It took her some time, but eventually.
Current Days
She is really coming into herself and figuring out who she is.
Anyway.

How did you come up with that name?
Well, long story short. The TV show Supernatural had a character Amara. The character has nothing to do with the choice, I just really liked the sound of the name.
It means a few different things. But for the most part it means eternal or forever.
omg Amara is so cute! I remember when I first saw her on the B/W challenge she's a little shih tzu right? i love her messy hair days lol my little dog Watson has some of those too! Is she coming to plano??
She is, of course. She has a little dog park close by.
