STEEM HELPING HANDS - My steemit Inspiration

Good day,

Today I browsed as usual through the Steemit platform, read and commented on posts that I could, and then I came across something so inspiring on this platform which caused my heart to melt with joy.

I saw a reference to the account @steemhelpinghands and decided to check it out and what I saw inspired me.

There was a post made by the owner of the account involving a less privileged family who had a baby suffering from Hydrocephalus, a condition in which fluid accumulates in the brain, typically in young children, enlarging the head and sometimes causing brain damage.

The family resides in the slum areas of Nigeria and cannot ensure the treatment of their child due to poverty. They must have prayed to God for a solution for their child for sometime and now God has used the selfless people from @steemhelpinghands to help them rescue their child from this rare and horrible condition.

The family was presented with the sum of 1.2 million Naira, the equivalent of 750SBD which was gotten from the generous donation of fellow steemians.

It pleases my heart to see selfless service like this in Steemit. My hope in humanity has been raised by @steemhelpinghands.

Let's us all learn from them and all other steemit charity organization to be selfless and not only work in our interest all the time.
