And as for the work nigger? Its just a word. Insulting anyone usually isnt good. But I have no idea of the reason for the insult so who am i to judge? Its also not okay to promote a blatant ponzi scheme for your own benefit. Id be mad and probably say some awful things if I got scammed too. And thats why I asked about the reason.

Btw, your wasting your upvote. This guy doesnt even comment back or upvote the ppl that comment on his posts unless you do something for him. Why give to someone that gives nothing back to this platform? At least I havent seen it other than him mentioning Steem in his videos.

Thats just the beginning. Ive been getting nonstop messages like this and comments everywhere by this crazy lady. She has like 20 different accounts. Just spams the shit out of pepl. If you disagree with someones post or whatever you flag em. Thats what flags are for. This is just straight up annoying nasty spam. I actually feel bad for her she thinks she’s doing harm to my earnings but shes sent me way more steem in messages then her lil downvotes have done damage. Just an annoyance. Need tools to deal with spammers like this makes the ecosystem unpleasant.

A simple mute or block function would do. Steemit already censored thedarkoverlord for conspiracy theory stuff and leaking US documents which is ridiculous. I cant support censorship. Unless the person is calling to action violence. Like telling others to kill someone.

She has 20 accounts and can make a new one everyday thats just one sick person spamming. Theres like what 1,500 active daily users or something like that on Steem thats insane low. If Steem was widely adopted this would be a huge problem one sick person spamming like this. Imagine thousands of them it will ruin the ecosystem. I just want whats best for Steem and everyones investments. On steemit her low reputation makes all her posts not visible but their still there and Partiko does nothing really. Im not a dev so don’t know if it’s possible but they should have a block button on all the Steem apps or something.
If she has a message to get across let her create a regular post and get her story or message out. Instead of posting the same bs photo over and over and spamming people and she calls other people’s posts shit.
I really feel sorry for her shes got some sort of mental issues.

I agree. The spam is bad. But, thankfully creating accounts isnt easy or free so it makes it harder to do.
As the various Steem interfaces continue to develop and improve, Im sure we will eventually see some anti-spam features.
We have to remember this is still in its infant stage and we have a long way to go. Just do your best to ignore it. I wouldnt even downvote it because thats showing her youre acknowledging her and giving her the response she wants. Just keep powering up the little bits of Steem she sends.

I still think they should ban spammers like this account. Thats not censorship thats cleaning up the ecosystem of trash thats harming the community or at the very least create tools to deal with accounts like these. She’s deliberately spamming not trying to get any points across or even making sense. I don’t flag at all I rather use my resources to upvote quality content than downvoting. The other dude your talking about thats censorship. Not this case though.
They ban someone like that but not accounts like this thats crazy. Im talking about steemit in this case not Steem.

I agree to a point. But, who gets to be the arbiter of what spam is? If there was a very strict criteria set out describing what is considered spam then i could get behind it.
But, then also someone is getting the power to ban people. Of course this would only be interface level, like thedarkoverlord example as they couldnt remove them from the chain itself. So I guess that kind of helps prevent abuse of that power as you could easily switch to another interface.
I think a block or mute feature would be a lot better, imo. Then we dont have to worry about a 3rd party at all. Hopefully they come up with something in the near future though.
