Not only it is possible, but it works very well, even with live videos.
For DTube, I never managed it to work as it should and upload videos, moreover DTube videos won't play on my browser (which is Chrome though).
Simply amazing. I guess your next step is to market the floor off share2steem and get it out to the public? I don't know how it can reach the non-crypto crowd though..
Yes that's it (I'm the developer of the app, @sebbbl is the marketer).
For the non-crypto crowd, we will soon be able to create accounts, so bringing users from outsite Steem should be really simplified, and I think the promise to monetize their social media activities should do the rest :D
