Harvesting And Tasting Jerusalem Artichokes For The First Time Ever
Today, we harvested our very first Jerusalem Artichokes.
They were one of the newcomers in the garden this year, so it was a little exciting.
Finally we could find out if the tubers had grown in the way they should.
We were happy to see that both containers were absolutely full of those strange-looking tubers. 👍
We carried them straight into the kitchen, because we were curious about how they would taste. We baked them in the oven, together with some garlic, onion, rosemary, pepper and salt.
OMG, they are absolutely delicious!!! 💜😋 Another successful gardening experiment.
