Shaktipeeth Mata Shakumbari Devi Temple Saharanpur
Shakambari Devi temple is considered one of the main Shakti Pitho. Here the head of the Goddess Sati, fell on this place. The main statue in this temple is of the Goddess Shakumbari Mata, or the goddess Bhramari Devi in the left direction and the statue of Satakshi Devi towards the right direction are located. Goddess Satakshi is also referred to as Mother Sheetla. It is believed that Shakambari Devi worshipers never have a shortage of vegetable curry in the house of worshipers.
Before the visit of Mata Shakambari temple, there is a belief that Baba Bhura Dev ji has to be visited. Some of its stories are that the war between God and demons was going on, In which the demons were fighting Shumbh and Nishumbh, Mahishasur etc. were fighting demons, the Gods fought against them and started hiding in the hills of Shivalik and when it was not talked, then all the gods from Shri Narada Muni sought the help by Goddess Mother.
