Alaskan fence shadows out along the
Kenai flats wildlife viewing park.
Many birds are seen out here in the
spring and summer near the mouth
of the Kenai river.

Not many fences in Alaska unlike
other places I've been. Some will
not look good after a few years of
ice heaving!

Those are really cool shadows! Thanks for entering! Resteeming!

Thank you so much ❤ @melinda010100! :-)

Such fabulous shadow images @shasta. Love the curve of circles in the first image ~ And the shadow in the second image is rather like a spiders web. Beautifully composed image for 11:11 posting. ♥︎♥︎⚖️♥︎♥︎

Thank you very much ❤ @allyinspirit!
What's trippy is the chain links were
ovals but came out as circle shadows :-)
There are big old driftwood stumps with
roots laying around out on the flats from
previous floods that look like big spiders
that might of made this fence! Kinda see
them in the bottom photo to the upper
left! lol

Howdy three shasta! This is a very cool fence shadow. Do you mean they don't last long because the ground moves alot with the ice and snow?

Hello Janton how ya doing? Yep the freezing
and thawing can upheave things, especially
fences. I will look for some to take photos of :-)
I'm sure quakes can also cause some zigzagging!

Howdy there shasta! Yes quakes, after that quake hit Anchorage I was surprised to hear that Alaska has more earthquakes than any other state, did they say 10,000 each year or something, most of them small of course but still!

Quite a few for sure, also a very large state, covers
a vast area of different faults and subduction zones.
California, Hawaii have a lot also. Oklahoma is starting
to catch up. Most are to small to feel, but when ya do
it's a fun ride most the time :-)
Do you feel any near your area?

Howdy there shasta! No I've never felt one, did you guys feel the one in Anchorage the other day?

Felt the 4.5 the other day was prob the lowest
we felt from there. I'm sure there will be more
the map is rocking with many quake dots.

December 4th aftershocks
Zoom in on the USGS Earthquake Map
They remove some dots after so many days, the big
7.0 marker is now gone, it was in that mess to the
right.

Okay, this whole situation is such an eye opener to me, I don't know why I didn't know that Alaska was full of earthquake activity. I mean you get everyday and check the quake activity like most people check for local weather!

lol pretty much!
There is also space weather ;-)
