Weathered Shadows • Parallel Lines

I shot this last summer on the day of the eclipse. The trellis shadow contrasts nicely with the weathered deck in a crosshatch pattern of dark and light. The deck and trellis were on top of a building that has since been torn down. Glad to have grabbed this moment for posterity. I entered a similar shot from the same camera roll for my first photo contest on Steemit when I was a newbie plankton. It was black & white and similar to the below image but not the exact framing. Although I did not win the contest, it felt pretty good when I received an upvote from @daveks!

I photographed the deck with my iPhone 6S Plus.
