My entry this week for the Shadow Photo Contest -Round 71, theme is Sports Shadows hosted by @melinda010100.

This photo was taken at The Coolangatta Gold event which started out more than 30 years ago on the Gold Coast in Australia. It's a challenging endurance race in surf sports where competitors take on the challenge of a 41.8-kilometre or a 21-kilometre course that includes a surf ski, swim, board and run to the finish line.
