Full service restored currently!
Thank you all for your patience we are happy to report full service has been restored! We will require another minor upgrade this week in order to help ensure this type of interruption does not occur again, however we do not expect any downtime during this process.
Minnow Booster Day has been extended this week for an additional 24 hours to account for this unexpected outage!
All features are currently online and fully operational with no issues. Signup and login should be fully functional. If anyone encounters any further issues please let us know!

Become a witness and api provider! The more nodes we can connect to the better! Running enough nodes to support all the users is simply too expensive currently and it requires us relying on other nodes, which if go offline can cause serious interruptions to our services! We are working to bring more nodes online each month this year in order to mitigate this risk going forward! If you would like to help, consider becoming a full api node/witness!
I want to know how I can activate a node in support of @shadowbot?
We could use extra nodes and that would be super helpful, currently our nodes consume ~6 GB of ram and 4 cores at ~3Ghz with a 100 Mbps+ uplink/downlink. When ShadowChat is live we can discuss this more! We greatly appreciate your desire to help scale the system further than it already is capable of!
To start, the big big thing is really running a full steem witness/node. Our "nodes" are limited by the number of nodes available both locally and publicly that actually interact with the steem blockchain. ShadowBot is designed to use an API to interact with the low level blockchain, this makes the code far easier to expand and build, BUT, also relies then on steem nodes.
Steem nodes are costly! They require over 200 GB of ram and will scale to over 1 TB of ram soon.. They require 8+ cores and at least a 1 Gbps uplink/downlink! If you are up for the task and get a working witness we would be glad to consider endorsing you and using your node!

I just would like to report a few bugs I have noticed. I don't know if it is happening only to my account, but auto-follow back is not working since the maintennance.
Another issue I faced that we were trying to log in (or register) with my son as a new user (@szamalev) and for some reason the server is not working (the page cannot handle the request). Is there a restriction to new users?

No restrictions on signups, one of the nodes was still not updated by mistake that handles signups. All is tested and fixed as of now. Auto-follow back was turned off until about an hour ago just to ensure the system would not be overloaded.

Perfect, one of the nodes that deals with signup/login was not updated properly, it was our mistake we apologize for the delay it should have been updated with the rest last night!

I also was a stupid human...
I had to change my password, because I mistakedly posted it on discord. Nothing happened, because I changed it immediately, but how can I get back to your system?
Is it enough if I log in with the new posting code? (I managed to do it and I can see my dashboard appearing properly...)
The login script for a technical:
First validates that the key you entered is valid for your account.
Second it ensures that the key you provided is the Posting key, not another key, if you try to login using your master key it will reject it.
Third it checks if you are already a member, if you aren't a member it creates your account and logs you in.
If you are a member, it checks to see if the posting key provided matches the hash we store, if they do not match, we update your private key with the new one you entered that is currently valid, then you are logged in.
This all happens at once and should be transparent to the average user.
Simply login using your new key and it should automatically update everything. Same as signing up. We made the process all 1 form to make it simple.
Also my vote power is currently at 100% and has been for several hours but shadow bot is not voting for me? Is the service fully functional?

Try re-logging in now, we had a minor issue still with new users registering on one of our nodes that was not fully updated.

No there not been any shadow rank updates neither received votes. Hope we will get it soon

Did the outage effect the shadow rank update that was due to go through tonight? I powered up quite a bit of steem last week but havent seem my shadow rank increase?
