MY SANDPERFORMANCE
Hello dear Steemians!
In this performance I paint with sand on a bright table.
What I create is captured by a camera above the table and projected on the wall or a screens. The people can therefore see me at work, and at the same time what I do.
In this case the theme of peformance is "England", I have designed several elements that can represent it.
When I say paint with sand I mean that I move the sand with my hands, take it and make it fall back, forming elements... but it's not easy to explain it, so you can watch the video!
I like to work with this technique and this material, even if nothing remains after.
I have done many performances of this type, always with a different theme, including music, love, and art history.
The preparation procedure is a bit lengthy, having to invent the story first, and then train for weeks, at least if they are portraits, because they have to be recognized.
But the most difficult is to follow the music, and to remember when you have to finished and restart, otherwise it doesn't go anything anymore.
LA MIA PERFORMANCE DI SABBIA

Questa è una performance nella quale dipingo con la sabbia su un tavolo luminoso.
Quello che creo viene ripreso da una telecamera posta sopra il tavolo, e proiettato su un muro o degli schermi. Il pubblico può perciò vedere me al lavoro e allo stesso tempo cosa sto facendo.
In questo caso il tema della peformance è "l' Inghilterra", ho disegnato diversi elementi che possono rappresentare il paese.
Quando dico dipingre con la sabbia intendo che la sposto con le mani, la prendo e la faccio ricadere, formando delle immagini.. ma a parole non è semplice spiegarlo, per questo potete guardarvi il video!
Mi piace molto lavorare con questa tecnica e questo materiale, anche se dopo non resta niente.-)
Ho fatto tante performance di questo tipo, sempre con un tema diverso, fra i quali la musica, l'amore, e la storia dell'arte.
La procedura di preparazione è un po' lunga, dovendo prima inventare la storia , e poi allenarsi per delle settimane, per lo meno se sono dei ritratti, perchè si devono riconoscere.
Ma il più difficile è seguire la musica, e ricordarsi quando finire cosa, altrimenti non quadra più niente.
