As you all know everyone starts the season with four chips; wildcard, bench boost, free hit and triple captain chips, with everyone receiving another wildcard in January. One of the most important differences between the best FPL players and the rest is their chip usage. For example, using your triple captain chip on the right player, or your bench boost when all your players have great fixtures can be the difference between placing in the top thousand or top 100 thousand players! Because of this I thought it would be interesting to see what the current top 15 players in Steemit Fantasy Premier League have done with their chips so far!

SW: summer wildcard
JW: January wilcard
BB: bench boost
FH: free hit
TC: triple captain
As you can see the majority of the players still have their January wildcard and their bench boost, which is to be expected. However looking at the top five players is very interesting, as the current #1 has already used all of their chips (except January wildcard)! The rest hasn't, so I could see them catching up towards the end of the season. This is because of the double gameweeks that will occur, where some teams will play two fixtures in one gameweek. Using your chips in those weeks can cause a huge swing in points and change your rank enormously! Looking at the above table I personally back Los JOKERS to win the entire thing!

Bench Boost: played on Gameweek 8 for the grand total of... 3 points :-/
Triple Captain: played on GW15 to turn Salah's 5 points to 15 points.
Can't remember when I used the wildcard, but I have not yet tried the Free Hit. As can be seen, I'm not really reliable about those chips :(
Damn! Only three points for the bench boost :/ TC didn't do it either, but at least he scored five points.
I'm scared this is going to happen to me as well...

Well, as @amosbastian told me all your 15 players needs to have pretty good fixtures for it to work :)
I can see lots of turn around when managers start using their chips.
