Things are heating up!

Marshawn Lynch got ejected for putting his hands onto a referee. @mikeshuh has lost consecutive games after starting out 5-0. Will the slide continue or will he get back to his winning ways? When is my boy Rico's Raiders @richq11 gonna get his first weekly win?

Notes from Week 7:

• The Chiefs vs Raiders game was an absolute classic. The last drive for the Raiders took forever and a day as they had multiple chances to win and eventually pulled out the victory.
• Kareem Hunt has cooled down the past few weeks, but continues to lead in Rookie of the year with DeShaun Watson and the Texans having a bye last week and Leonard Fournette sidelined with an ankle injury.
• The Buccaneers have lost 4 of their last 5 games as they gave the game away to the Bills in the final minutes.
• The Browns had a chance to beat the Titans, but lost in overtime, while the 49ers got destroyed by the Cowboys. Who will get their first win of the season and will it be this week?

Preview of the Week

A team has no name @boatsports90 (5-2) vs Gators @tom74 (1-6)

This matchup is an intriguing one and has captured the spot for "Preview of the Week". A team has no name @boatsports90 has come on strong recently and is now leading his division, while Gators @tom74 has struggled mightily. Both of these teams are incredible healthy with only one total player listed as "Questionable" in this matchup. For A team has no name @boatsports90 he has three starters on a bye this week. With that being said, it looks like he will drop down to two starting running backs and opt for four wide receivers bringing Willie Snead (who only has 1 catch on the season due to suspensions and injuries, but is finally healthy) and Cole Beasley (who has yet to catch more than 4 passes in a week) off the bench and into the starting limelight. Another surprise this year on the fantasy trail has been the saints running back duo of Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara for Gators @tom74. Both of these running backs have scored in double figures in the past two games and Gators @tom74 is going to need it this week to get the weekly win. The X-factor in this matchup is going to be DeSean Jackson for the Buccaneers and if Jameis Winston can get him the ball early it will pay huge dividends for the Bucs offense.

@paradise-found (6-1) vs @sevinwilson (6-1)

Although this matchup is between the two teams with the best record don't look for this to be much of a matchup. Look for Le'Veon Bell to have a monster week for @paradise-found as the Steelers take on the Lions. It may be tough sledding for Kareem Hunt and @paradise-found as the Chiefs take on the Broncos tough defense, but he should still manage at least 15 points in the matchup. Even though the Seahawks defense has historically been good, I have this feeling the Houston vs Seattle matchup is going to be a high scoring affair as two of the most dynamic quarterbacks square off. @paradise-found has both Russell Wilson at QB for the Seahawks and one of Wilson's favorite targets Doug Baldwin at WR. On the other hand, after not playing the first three weeks of the season, Will Fuller has scored 5 receiving touchdowns in only 3 games this year for @sevinwilson the Texans. Unfortunately for @sevinwilson both of quarterbacks are on a bye this week, so he had to hit the Free Agent list where he picked up Case Keenum. If you told me at the beginning of the year that Case Keenum would be a starting quarterback in Fantasy Football I wouldn't believe you, but sure enough he will try to lead @sevinwilson to victory over the juggernaut, @paradise-found.

@NiketheMutt (2-5) vs Nic Nasty @nicnas (3-4)

Bye weeks can be a tricky thing in Fantasy Football and couple it with injuries/off-the-field issues and it makes things even more complicated. For @NiketheMutt this is the case as he has two starting receivers out this week, Davante Adams and the Packers have a bye week and Martavis Bryant has been benched and demoted to the scout team due to being labeled a "distraction". The Titans have a bye this week, so Delanie Walker heads to the bench. It appears that @NiketheMutt is going to have to pick up quite a few guys from the Free Agent list this week. There are a few guys available, but he needs to move quickly. Nic Nasty @nicnas only has one starter with a bye this week, but he has multiple running backs on his bench that can replace Shane Vereen this week. If Nic Nasty @nicnas were to get a similar performance from Zeke that we saw last week, this matchup could be in the bag. Both of these teams have Hall of Fame quarterbacks in Tom Brady for @NiketheMutt and Drew Brees for Nic Nasty @nicnas and the difference in the matchup may very well come down to the play of these two guys.

@Shenanigator (3-4) vs @mikeshuh (5-2)

Of all the teams the team that has underperformed more than any other team might be @Shenanigator. He has top 4 talent, but hasn't gotten the weekly performances he has needed and consequently is sitting at 4th place in his division. Can he give @mikeshuh his third loss in as many weeks? It is certainly possible with his roster. Expect a massive game from WR Antonio Brown, who has scored in double figures in all but game this year for @Shenanigator. The big question mark for @Shenanigator is in the Buccaneers vs Panthers game as both QB Cam Newton and WR Devin Funchess are both listed as questionable with injuries for Carolina. If @Shenanigator can get big games from either or both of these guys, he might be able to pull the upset over @mikeshuh. If @mikeshuh team had a nickname it would certainly have to include something about Tight Ends as he has two of the top 3 tight ends in the game, Zach Ertz and Travis Kelce. Other than AJ Green there is no big name running back or wide receiver on @mikeshuh's team, but they have continued to play well this season. Chris Thompson should have another big game for @mikeshuh going against the cowboys 20th ranked run defense and 14th ranked pass defense. Look for this game to go down to the wire.

Corn Cobb Pipe @mstodola91 (4-3) vs Jupiter Explosion @breakthrough (3-4)

This is an intriguing matchup for both of these teams as they are each on streaks of their own. Corn Cobb Pipe @mstodola91 has won two straight weeks while Jupiter Explosion @breakthrough has lost in two consecutive weeks. With the Texans back from their bye week Corn Cobb Pipe @mstodola91 can start DeShaun Watson at QB. This is where things get interesting for Corn Cobb Pipe @mstodola91 as RB DeMarco Murray and the Titans are on a bye week and Marshawn Lynch is suspended after his altercation last week. With Aaron Jones and the Packers also on a bye, does Corn Cobb Pipe @mstodola91 pick up two running backs or does he pick up one running back and play two tight ends or four receivers with Golden Tate as the fourth? Should be an interesting decision. As things look currently, Jupiter Explosion @breakthrough should end his two game losing streak. There is too much uncertainty with Corn Cobb Pipe @mstodola91 this week. You can basically guarantee double figures with Gronk at tight end and Dak Prescott should be able to rack up some nice yards on the Redskins pass defense. The difference maker in this matchup is Emmanuel Sanders, who did not play last week and did not practice on Thursday, but is expected to play Monday night for Jupiter Explosion @breakthrough as the Broncos take on the Chiefs.

Harambes Revenge @kryptocek (4-3) vs Rico's Raiders @richq11 (0-7)

I am going to go out on a limb this week and say that the 7 game skid for Rico's Raiders @richq11 is ending this week. There is just something about this matchup. Harambes Revenge @kryptocek appears to be starting Dion Lewis in the RB spot as he currently only has Buck Allen currently starting. With the Texans back from the bye, Harambes Revenge @kryptocek should be starting DeAndre Hopkins this week. Hopkins is putting up Pro Bowl type numbers so far this year and Harambes Revenge @kryptocek hope it continues against the tough Seahawks defense. It will be interesting to see who Harambes Revenge @kryptocek picks up for his defense this week as he currently does not have one on his roster. The trio of running backs for Rico's Raiders @richq11 is going to have a big week. Devonta Freeman and the Falcons play a bad Jets defense and Freeman has gotten the majority of the carries for Atlanta. Frank Gore has been consistent this year, but has yet to break out for a big game, but maybe this is it. The difference maker for Rico's Raiders @richq11 this week looks to be Jordan Howard as he has big time play making ability and the Saints defense is nothing too special. Rico's Raiders @richq11 finally gets on track this week.
