RE: LiTTLE CHERiNE Book 03 - post039
Hi @arthur.grafo, I just noticed your token thingy. A little question: Did you consider using the #creativecoin tag on your post? Personaly I'm now only upvoting/curating #creativecoin content, and I'm seriously contemplating moving much of my stake to CCC when HF21 hits. If more think like me, using the #creativecoin tag might be a good idea for your fiction.
I took a look at the tag but did not find an explanation of what it is - nor do I know what CCC stands for. I am already posting on about 4 platforms, but I do not see myself getting rich on any of them; it is just that I spread myself thin in the hopes of meeting more nice people...but that has not worked out. People vote but do not comment very often, so I'm thinking of opening my own website where I can also host other fiction authors. There stories will be either for free or at a low price, choice of the author - and they may also specify in which digital coins or tokens they accept payment.
Its like Palnet, but for creative content specifically. If you post your fiction using the #creativecoin tag, you can earn CCC steem-engine tokens the same way that you can earn PAL tokens using the #palnet tag.
Think it would be useful for you to use the #creativecoin tag when posting your #fiction stuff. You could certainly count on up votes from me, earning you some CCC tokens, and I'm sure other CCC holders will do the same.
I think you might also have been airdropped soem CCC already, but I'm not sure. If you have, staking them might be a good idea.
Personally I've moved my former PAL stake to CCC now, because most of what I upvote is creative work anyway.
Your idea sounds interesting. A bit like an old idea I had a few months back.
I too wish I got more feedback on my fiction in the form of comments, but as a reader, I also mostly rather just move on to the next read than stop and comment, so it makes sense I get few comments myself.
I am the opposite, whenever I read a story/poem etc that I really enjoyed, I want to write to the author and comment. To me, this was a big advantage of steemit. It is also how I met you.
Unfortunately, I only have one author to comment his works and because I think he is a very good writer, that is enough for me at this time.
Saying I should use the tag does not make sense. With PALnet I went to their platform and registered. Are you saying the creativecoin does not have a site, just a tag?
They have a site too.
https://www.creativecoin.xyz/
But like with PAL, you don't need to use it to for posting. You can even just post with both #creativecoin and #palnet tags from Steemit or busy and show up on both the planet site and the creative coin site if you don't mind sacrificing two of your regular tags.
I see the site says it is a part of Steemit - so no point in going there.
One reason I never encouraged my brother to sign on in steemit is because I only want upvotes from people who read and like what I write. I realised a long time ago that you do not like my stories, so I would not want you to compromise your principals by feeling you must reward me because of a platform.
I hope you do well there and I am waiting to see what next you will write.
Don't think creativecoin is any more part of Steemit than any of the Scot tribes. The web sites are pretty similar and probably based on the same code bear, but don't think Steemit Inc is involved.
As for your work. No "like" is the wrong work. There is an intensity and raw honesty to parts of your work though that I find both intensely discomforting and somehow addictive.
But please don't take my lack of comments as indication that I'm part of the drive-bye voter crowd. I'm not. I don't use any auto up vote bots, and everything I up-vote I read. Most of it before voting, other times I use my vote for authors I know create quality as a bookmark to read at a later hour. But eventually any vote by me matches a full read by me.
As for comments, while I'm typing this on my phone, during my commute, I continually realize my VP is currently probably at 100% going to waste, and I should try to 700% of total upvotes out before I arrive at my work, what usually means reading 20 to 40 posts. I won't likely have time (or inclination) to comment on any of these posts, as I know more are waiting.
I hope this clears some things up, and I hope you'll be using the #creativecoin tag in the future, especially after the hard fork. I really want my upvotes to transfer some value, and they won't in the main STEEM economy, not post HF21. So increasing my CCC stake and curating creativecoin tagged posts only for me is the way forward.
I said what I said about it being part of the same-old-same because of your own comment about all the tribes needing steemit , because of the witnesses. That if steemit collapses, the witneese will stop and then everyone is in trouble.
