S'Express
1988 wasn't dystopian saga like Orwell's 1984. I want to stress how wonderful this year was in terms of dance music. It was Second Summer of Love after all! Yes, dance music used to be fun, but psychedelic at the same time. And proof is S'Express - brainchild of British DJ and vinyl digger Mark Moore. Sampling enthusiast created his collective from bunch of punters and they made it straight to the Number One of UK Top 40!
