Sex and love

Yeah it is an intimate subject. But most of the people say that sex can be separated from love. I don't know yet, because I haven't had a boyfriend yet. At first, I thought it is a form of intimacy, but now I think I have became numb (not that I have a lot of sex, the opposite, I don't have a lot of sex ahah). Every guy I have been with has taken a part of me and I "have nothing left" for the right one (Sam smith reference kinda haha).

What do you think so?

Is it cheating if it is just only sex? Regardless to say, I don't like the idea of an open relationship. Maybe I am not that "open" hehe.
